Start-up Dispute Policy (STOP) Dispute Providers
Disputes related to the Internet are administered by ICANN-accredited
Dispute Resolution Providers. The Providers that have agreed to
administer the Start-up Dispute Policy (STOP) are listed below.
We have provided a brief description of each of the providers, as

The WIPO Arbitration and Mediation Center is the leading provider
of online domain name dispute resolutions services. The Center
administers procedures under the UDRP, which was adopted at
the recommendation of WIPO, as well as under new Policies of
the new gTLDs. By August 2001, the Center has received some
3,000 complaints involving parties from more then 80 countries.
Some 87 percent of the complaints have already been resolved.
The Center maintains a comprehensive list of over 250 panelists
from different regions of the world who are well-reputed for
their impartiality, sound judgement and experience as decision-makers,
as well as their substantive experience in the areas of intellectual
property law, electronic commerce and the Internet.
The fees for STOP proceedings will be the same as under the
